Last Friday and Saturday London Spitalfields Market saw a 20,000 crowd visit the venue over two days for what was easily the biggest fashion event London’s seen in summer 2012 as Africa Fashion Week created by Ronke Ademiluyi to create an international platform for African designers took centre stage. With over 60 designers showcasing on the runway and exhibiting in the exhibition hall, 50 models, 50 team members and volunteers and of course thousands upon thousands of guests, AFWL 2012 proved a grand affair.
