Menaye Donkor has announced that she will no longer be a judge on Ghanaian and Nigerian fashion reality TV show, Fashion Power. Menaye was scheduled to be the lead judge on the show but has had to pull out due to filming and production delays, which meant that the filming schedule would have clashed with her ongoing prior commitments.
A spokesperson for Menaye Donkor says; “It is with regret that Menaye has had to pull out of Fashion Power. She was excited to be involved in the project and to support African fashion, however due to filming dates of the show being pushed back on a number of occasions, it became unviable for Menaye to be involved. Menaye always gives 100% to everything she does and didn’t want to be in a position where her involvement became anything less than fully committed.”
Menaye wished the organisers of Fashion Power the best of luck with the show and continues to support African Fashion around the world.
